For the past 5 years, creating videos has been on my to learn & to master list. To help me achieve this, I engaged others to create them and attempted a few on my own. However, video creation remains something I am uncomfortable with. It is a learning goal that scares me and yet excites me.

As I often share with my clients, the first baby step to achieving a goal is to get started. I decided to do this by taking the following actions:

  1. Create a series of videos on a topic that is popular with my clients and close to my heart. Manifesting Your Dreams came to mind.
  2. Complete the videos within one to two weeks and “launch” the first video blog on 21 August 2023. Setting a short time frame and deadline overcomes procrastination and inertia.
  3. Create the videos on my own and in one or two takes with no editing. This prevents me from using the need to edit as the excuse for not posting.
  4. Keep it heart felt and truly B, do it my style.
  5. Ensure it’s beneficial to everyone who decides to come on the journey with me.
  6. Keep in mind that the more I create, the more comfortable I will be.
  7. Enjoy the process! For me, I learn best when I am having fun. Otherwise, it becomes a chore and takes triple the effort.

If Manifesting Your Dream is a topic that resonates with you, I invite you to journey with me over these two weeks through my videos and blog posts. It will be a learning journey for us both. Let us enjoy it together!

  1. Awesome first step in getting started. With AI these days, you will soon be using the machine to create them for you instead.

    Keep learning and growing, flowmate.

        1. Indeed Linus! Am enjoying the learning process. Instead of having “fears” like I used to, I am now excited about creating videos and keen to explore ways on how to be better eg I am attending a workshop next month to learn tips.
